A New Fitness Craze? Damn!

I thought this many would find a bit interesting. Men and women both - of course, men mainly as onlookers. Pole Dancing fitness! Apparantly it's become quite the craze. It's total fitness from head to toe, you definitely get your work out, and can be that stripper you always wanted <----okay maybe. While you wouldn't find me doing this (Imma bit of a klutz), I can see how many would be attracted to it. Here's the article. And, their picture....

McDonalds Meets Evil and Boom!

Last evening (I could have just said last night...lol), while I was watching NASCAR (Damn! Jr. lost his 2nd place position), I came up with a great Ad Concept Idea for McDonalds. Yes I did! Well you know how they have their dollar menu? Okay, and in many cities (at least all of the ones I have seen and lived in), not too far by you see a homeless person, one holding a sign sometimes, sometimes not, but you can tell....well, They should have a commercial where you see a woman or man (with a family, of course), taking the kids into the food place, when he/she glances over to the side and notices a homeless person, walks in and purchases a $1.00 burger and maybe a drink and gives it to the homeless person, while his family watches from the inside, noticing the generosity. Then it moves to a close up of the homeless persons face and you see a tear and a smile (like the one the indian had on that litter commercial many many years back.

Now I don't know what you think, but I think this would be an amazing marketing idea for them. McDonalds are always for children and families, and I think it would definitely boost their sales, and perhaps some people will also learn from the kindnesses and give back. Hell! There is a McDonald's near the Walmart I shop at and most times there is a homeless person with a sign. I have given someone $5 dollars before not to long ago, perhaps a burger next time.

If one could only sell an idea, this would be fabulous, or at least I think.

Not too long ago I had another idea. You might understand if you were a woman. Well, most of us carry tampons in our purses for those just in case times, and well, whenever a friend needs one asap! I came up with this idea after I had one in my person for so long it lost it's wrapper and almost landed on the counter where I was shopping. How embarrassing would that be? Good lord! So, I thought it would be sweet to have a really nice place to put them. Plastic would be too..cheap and ugly and well not really chic, so I thought of like a fake leather case or soemthing with a little class, done in subtle and bright colors. Then I thought if this could be made cheaply enough, I could sell the idea to Tampax, and perhaps they could offer a free whatever I'd call it, with a large box. Of course given them the rights, they could have a small emblem put on the bottom right of the whatever you'd call it. Blam!

I have thought of so many ideas throughout the last couple years, but I can't recall them. It makes me angry, and I wouldn't even know about how to get a patent or sell an idea anyway. Yesterday I looked up a patent web page, and that jargon to me was like latin. I couldn't make heads nor tails of it.

Anyhow, those were a couple of my ideas. Sometimes I think I should have gone into marketing or advertising, I constantly find myself critizizing many of the commercials I watch for the wrong ideas or what not. I'm sooo glad I have the day off, and can't wait till 6pm when my daughter returns. Ford is still sleeping (he worked from 11pm - 7am this morning). I think I'll get off here and play Death Jr. on my PSP, while I wathc the CSI marathon. Might nap later, and then I will make my spaghetti for dinner, it's my daughter's favorite. Yum!

Ford and I would like to get another blog again. Like we used to have on Modblog, the one we did together. We both had so much fun with that, and miss doing it, it made us happy and laugh alot. Not sure what we will call it, perhaps The Ford and Evil show or something. Anyway, I'll let you all know when we come up with the idea. Have a good one.
